Skeeta was admitted to practice in Grenada in October 2012 after acquiring a Bachelor of Laws Degree (with Honours) from the University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus in Barbados and a Legal Education Certificate of Merit at the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad & Tobago.

Skeeta’s academic life has been punctuated with several notable achievements, namely being the recipient of the following awards: The Grenadian Island Scholarship Award (2005) awarded to the top Grenadian performer in the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examinations (CAPE); The Department of Youth National Award (2006)in recognition of her exemplary performance in the field of Education; Legal Education Certificate of Merit from the Hugh Wooding Law School (2012)
