Berna assists foreign businesses in navigating the Turkish legal system, and establishing and expanding their Turkish operations. As part of her unique practice, Berna also assists clients with their real estate, inheritance and family law matters involving Turkey.
Berna regularly speaks at conferences on various legal topics about Turkish law. She was one of the speakers at the U.S. Agency for International Development and TradeRoots program that traveled to İzmir, İstanbul and Gaziantep in order to strenghten Turkish-U.S. business partnerships. She also frequently writes articles on real estate, inheritance and family law matters, and is the co-author of the Turkish Law Chapter of International Commercial Secured Transactions, a widely used handbook for professionals engaged in secured transactions in over 30 industrialized countries.
