The Gama Lobo Xavier, Luís Teixeira e Melo e Associados law firm was informally created in Guimarães in January 1978 and established in May 1989 by the partners Gama Lobo Xavier and Luís Teixeira e Melo. Its genesis embodies a long and deep professional and personal relationship between the two founding partners, which began in the second half of 1971, extended and deepened to their direct descendants and little by little, but surely, opened to new partners and associates.
