In 1951, Oei Tat Hway Widjojo, our late founder, joined the firm and assumed sole partnership in 1954 following the departure of its Dutch founders. Under his stewardship, the firm transitioned its focus exclusively to intellectual property matters, marking a pivotal shift from its origins as a general practitioner.
