In China, she advises foreign companies for their investments in China (through M&A transactions or greenfield investment through the setting-up of local entities such as joint-ventures or WFOEs), for their cooperation and commercial contracts with Chinese partners, in litigation and arbitration, assets search and intellectual property related matters. She has also developed a specific practice in TMT, ICT and new technologies related legal matters as well as MedTech and regularly advises tech companies in their legal matters. Her area of practice also covers foreign non-governmental organizations (NGOs) for their entry and activity in China.
She also advises Chinese companies for their investments in Europe or Africa, on any legal matter related to their investment.
When exercising in France, she specialized in M&A and privatizations involving listed or non-listed companies and corporate law, especially in the energy, infrastructure, and banking sectors. She participated in acquisitions, privatizations and restructuring transactions involving state-owned companies, special status enterprises and concession companies and has good knowledge of processes of sales through tender offer, both public and private, and of cooperation agreements (cooperation and joint venture contracts, shareholders’ agreements, and data-room processes).
She is used to advising clients for their cross-border operations, from advising them at the very inception of their project up until its implementation, and on the day-to-day operation of the investment or litigation/arbitration.
Christine is an arbitrator at the Qingdao Arbitration Commission and Weihai Arbitration Commission and an elected member at the Board of the French Chamber of Commerce in China.
